Pottery Course (Casserole Dish)

Service Description

Join us in crafting and painting ceramic casserole dishes, perfect for gifts or your own home. Our course includes all the materials you need, from clay to glaze and both bisque and final firings. Plus, this is a wonderful opportunity to build community and enjoy a delightful evening of friendship and creativity. This course has two sessions. In the first session, we will construct the dish using the slab technique, and the second will be learning different glazing techniques. WHAT WILL YOU LEARN? - Basic knowledge necessary for working with clay: - Weigh, knead, store, reuse, and recycle clay; - Slab-building techniques, including score and slip; - Familiarize with pottery tools; - Glazing techniques (bubble, alcohol, layer, fleckles).
